Maltfield Stud - Livery Options

Maltfield Stud offers a variety of livery types to suit your lifestyle and budget while still ensuring the care and comfort of your horse or pony.

Standard full livery at only €120 per week offers full stabled care of your horse and includes the following:

• Feeding - Diverse selection of feeds available to suit all feeding requirements.

• Rug changes - when and as necessary

• Daily turnout - Into stud railed paddocks with/without company

• Grooming - Daily grooming and mane pulling

• Regular condition/health checking

• Horse box parking available

• Reduced pricing for ponies (please call)

Exercise and schooling options are available upon request at a small additional cost. Clipping and show/hunt preparation also available.

Working grass livery is also available as an option from May to September for €50 per week. Your horse or pony can be placed on monitored grazing with full use of the arena and facilities during the day as required. This option of reducing your costs can be used whenever necessary and for short terms such as holidays etc. and can save you over €200 a month in livery cost.

We have a number of separate paddocks for grazing to avoid overcrowding and to help prevent horses being injured by employing sensible grazing practices.
