About Maltfield Stud

Maltfield Stud is situated just off the N11 (Dublin to Wexford route) about 2 miles from Lil Doyle's Pub. It is only 10 minutes drive from Wicklow town and 30 minutes from Dublin. It is set on 25 acres of stud railed paddocks and nestled in a picturesque setting boardered by forest. It offers excellent facilites and is within easy access of a great number of horse riding activities/opportunities.

Maltfield Stud is managed by Alison Roe who ensures an unrivalled degree of care and attention to her equine guests. A qualified instructor with the BHS (British Horse Society), she has a busy teaching schedule and provides tuition to both children and adults wishing to progress with their own ponies or horses. Alison is also a regular instructor with the Wicklow Pony Camp.

Maltfield Stud offers livery to horses from a variety of disciplines including show horses, racehorses, showjumpers, hunters and broodmares, all catered for in a friendly and consciencious manner.
